The graduate students of Muğla Vocational School are awarded with Associate Degree.
Founded in the 1989-1990 academic year with only two academic programmes, Electrics and Tourism and Hotel Management, Muğla Vocational School is the largest of all vocational schools, with nearly 5,200 students studying in 22 different programmes. Muğla Vocational School was committed officially to Muğla University in 1992. The school, with its well-experienced staff, comprehensive training programmes, variety of facilities, and modern buildings and laboratories, fulfils a role of great importance in meeting the employment needs for qualified middle-level staff and technicians around the region. All programmes require a compulsory industrial training period of 60 days before graduation and transfer opportunities to relevant bachelor’s degree programmes is possible for successful graduates.
The school, which provides the students with daytime and evening education during four semesters, aims to raise qualified staff with both practical and theoretical knowledge. Besides distinguished scientists, the school employs experienced and well-educated experts in their respective fields. Our graduate students have the opportunity to be employed in private and public sectors and contribute significantly to the economic growth of their country.
Today, our school located in the city centre is one of the most crowded campuses of the university. In addition to its two-year education programmes, the school offers to their students the national and international conferences, seminars, panels, symposiums in a variety of subject fields to get more experience and be prepared for the business life.
The graduates who successfully complete their associate training have the opportunity to apply to related undergraduate programmes on condition that they acquire a sufficient mark from External Transfer Exam executed by OSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center)
